In my sample I used assorted pastel prints with a 1930’s look. I also used a white tone on tone for the background pieces of the stars. The star pieces are cut from the fat quarter pieces and background yardage. The leftovers from the fat quarters are used to make the triangles that surround the star block

THERE SHOULD BE GOOD CONTRAST BETWEEN THE STAR AND BACKGOUND FABRIC

I am excited to be teaching this retreat at the Bromley View Inn. This quilt is
easy and goes together very fast. I would not be surprised if many of you finish
this quilt during the weekend. I will also do a show and tell session with some of
my quilts and maybe a few other surprises.

light for night time sewing
1 box quart sized zip lock bags ( used to store cut pieces)
the largest square ruler your have

I will bring a few 20 inch square rulers for class use.
